Raising awareness at the Danube Island Festival

On behalf of the European Commission, comm:unications organised a three-day PR event as part of the Danube Island Festival: more than 1,300 visitors were encouraged to discuss their social rights in the workplace and working conditions with ORF presenter Michael Pimiskern and EU representatives. A highly visible EU information stand invited visitors to join in the discussion and reflect on the issues. The awareness campaign was accompanied by collaborations with 88.6, FALTER and HEUTE, as well as influencer Bianca Patzl (@bfullofdreams).

EU warns against counterfeit goods

Counterfeit food products such as olive oil, beer, meat, cheese and dairy products are particularly worrying. They often contain substances that are hazardous to health, such as methanol, mercury or pesticides. On behalf of the European Intellectual Property Office, EU IPO, the agency sounded the alarm – and was heard by numerous media outlets. You can read the press release here.

Press conference, video and brochure in combination

In mid-June, a high-profile press lunch took place above the rooftops of Vienna. The central topic was the role of the real estate industry in the energy transition and the presentation of the new heating water test kit for installers. Parallel to the extremely successful media event, the comm:unicaitons team created a three-minute video and a corresponding brochure. PR for Wunschbabies

Around 30 lesbian women gathered in mid-April at Vienna’s renowned Löwenherz bookshop in the 9th district for an information evening. Dani W., 29, a mother of two, gave a touching insight into how she and her partner had their dream babies. Dr Birgit Huber from Tiny Feet fertility clinics outlined the medical options and legal avenues available to lesbian couples. comm:unications also ensured targeted placements in lifestyle and healthcare media. Webinars in the high-tech sector

Together with Kommunalverlag, comm:unications organised a webinar for the Open Fiber Association Austria (OFAA) in June. The webinar focused on how open fibre optic networks enable fair competition and secure the digital future of Austria’s communities. With over 60 participants, the event, which was also followed by editorial coverage, was a complete success. comm:unications was responsible for the strategic planning and operational implementation – from content design to media placement.
