Now, this commitment has once again been independently verified: comm:unications holds the Austrian PR Seal of Quality and meets the requirements of the international Consultancy Management Standard IV (CMS IV). This also means our agency is certified by the International Communications Consultancy Organization (ICCO) as a “Quality Certified Public Relations Agency.”

A Seal of Quality with Clear Standards

The Public Relations Association of Austria (PRVA) has established a quality initiative for the domestic communications industry with the Austrian PR Seal of Quality. It is designed to highlight high professional and ethical standards and provide clients with guidance and confidence when selecting their communications partners.

The audit is based on the internationally recognized Consultancy Management Standard IV (CMS IV). It specifically examines how quality is put into practice in the agency’s day-to-day operations—for example, how responsibilities are assigned, projects are planned and managed, clients are served, services are documented, and results are evaluated. Transparent billing, ongoing professional development, and sustainable practices are also among the quality criteria. These standards are complemented by current topics in communications practice, including the responsible use of artificial intelligence, information security, and communications ethics.

For comm:unications, this latest award marks the logical continuation of a path we embarked on early on: As far back as 2013, we were among the first agencies in Austria to become certified under CMS III. Since then, we have continuously refined our processes and standards.
