Since 2025, comm:unications has been responsible for the development of case studies for ÖROK – the Austrian Conference on Spatial Planning – in the context of EU projects and European cooperation programmes. What is actually funded and implemented within Interreg projects? What tangible added value do these programmes deliver for Austria, the public sector, and society as a whole?

To answer these questions, the agency follows a clearly structured approach: in conversations with selected experts from a range of EU projects, relevant perspectives and experiences are systematically gathered and shaped into concise narratives. In parallel, tailored visual content is developed to support the case studies and present them in a consistent and contemporary way. On this basis, cross-media content is created as part of a strategic corporate publishing approach, extending the key messages of the case studies across digital channels – including social media formats.

The case studies highlight the achievements and outcomes of funded projects and initiatives with Austrian participation. They tell the stories behind EU projects and the people involved from an Austrian perspective, making their impact visible. At the same time, they demonstrate how these projects and funding programmes contribute to EU cohesion policy, regional development in Europe, and sustainable development within the public sector.
